Create Free AWS Account
Did you know that you can create an AWS Free Tier account that will let you try the AWS services for 12 months free of charge.
Note: This account does have restrictions on the size and type of services you can create, but it will allow you to try the S3 service and establish what your charges will be before commiting to a new service
Create Account
Click on the link above to create your Free AWS Account, and then click the "Create Free Account" button
Then enter your username and password and give the account a name
Finally you have to enter some credit card details so that you can be billed should you use some resources beyond the free limit
And that is it, you should now have a Free Tier account to use
Check S3 Limits
One thing to note is the Free Tier limits for S3, from experience it is very easy to go over the 2,000 puts per month when creating WeeWX Web Sites and so it pays to make a lot of use of hte Dry Run feature, which we will discuss later, so that you do not incur any unexpected expenses/
