Preserving the DNS Entries
As I do not have very many local DNS entries it is again very easy to preserve these settings, simply record what they are today and reset them after the reinstall. But I am not going to show you the screen shot for that one as it has all my addresses on it.
One other point of note is that I point all my local servers at DNS on my server, which in turn relays on, via the Forwarding Servers option, to my service providers DNS servers. This allows me to use the same web address when on my LAN and when I am away from home via the WAN
